Point-type infrared flame detector

1. The point-type infrared flame detector (referred to as the detector) is an intelligent flame fire detector that utilizes three high-end infrared sensors with different narrow-band wavelengths. One sensor operates at the central wavelength of burning flames, while the other two function at infrared wavelengths in the environment to eliminate interference. This detector effectively suppresses interference from fluorescent lights, incandescent lamps, artificial light sources, ambient conditions (such as people), thermal radiation, and mechanical vibrations. Equipped with an advanced microprocessor and sophisticated physical optics algorithms, the detector enables accurate identification and rapid response to alarm signals. With adjustable sensitivity and passive contacts for easy integration with various fire control systems, it is suitable for diverse applications.

The detector is suitable for detecting gas fires, smokeless liquids, and open flame fires that produce smoke, such as open flames of carbon-based materials (wood, chemical plastics, alcohol, petroleum products, flammable gases, etc.), but is not suitable for detecting fires involving certain chemicals (phosphorus, magnesium, hydrogen, etc.).

Point type infrared flame detectors are commonly used in the following situations:

3. Precautions

3.1 When installing the detector, the monitored area should be within the effective range of the field of view angle;

3.2 Regardless of the installation location, it is recommended that the monitoring window face downwards at a certain angle to avoid the accumulation of rainwater and dust affecting the sensitivity of the detector;

3.3 If there are obstacles ahead during installation, the distance from the detector should not be less than 3 meters;

3.4 The installation location should be as far away as possible from various heat sources;

3.5 The installation must be firm and shock resistant;

3.6 The grounding wire of the shell must be installed firmly;

3.7 The installation height should not be less than 2.5 meters;

3.8 Products that have passed explosion-proof inspection are not allowed to replace or modify components and structures that affect explosion-proof performance at will.

When the product is used in a combustible dust environment, the thickness of the dust layer on the surface of the product cannot exceed 5mm.
